Basketball Recap: Devils Lake Takes a Loss

Devils Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Larimore Polar Bears.

Devils Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Larimore, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Devils Lake has already played their next game, a 57-28 loss against Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] on the 6th. Larimore has also already played their next matchup (against Hatton/Northwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
