Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt managed to slip by Allen Park the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears lost 14-4 to the Jaguars on Saturday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Natalee Lesko was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Shaylan Gourlay was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Allen Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-11-2 record this season.

Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Allen Park, they have already played their next matchup, a 13-0 victory against Taylor on the 30th.
