Independence won the last time they faced Lebanon Trail and things went their way on Friday too. The Independence Knights blew past the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers 65-31. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season.

Lebanon Trail's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Molstad, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Zade Shawwa was another key player, putting up eight points.

Independence has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Lebanon Trail, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

Independence will challenge Centennial at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lebanon Trail, they will square off against Memorial at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorial knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Lebanon Trail likes a good challenge.
