Softball Recap: West Valley Mustangs vs. Perris Panthers

West Valley won the last time they faced Perris, and things went their way on Tuesday too. The West Valley Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 22-21 victory over the Perris Panthers. That's two games straight that West Valley has won by just one run.

For Perris' part, Natalie Lopez and Anahi Morales stepped up to the plate in a big way. Lopez got on base in four of her six plate appearances with six RBI, two runs, and a triple, while Morales scored five runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Brizayda Medina, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
