Baseball Recap: Pine Forest Takes a Loss

Pine Forest and Niceville squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Pine Forest had to settle for second. They came up short against Niceville, falling 14-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Niceville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 back in March.

Pine Forest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremy Whiting, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Pine Forest is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-24-1. As for Niceville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Pine Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Niceville, they will square off against Milton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
