After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Peoria Heights, Havana was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats with a 45-40 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ducks also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Havana's win bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-14.

Coming up, Havana won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Illini West at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, they will host Astoria/VIT at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
