Volleyball Recap: Marian Catholic Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Marian Catholic had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Executive Education Academy Charter School Raptors as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Marian Catholic also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Marian Catholic took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-10, 25-5.

Leading Marian Catholic to victory were JoElle Currie and Raegan LeClair. Currie had seven assists and five aces, while LeClair had five aces and one assist. Those five aces gave Currie a new career-high. Alena Lombardo also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Marian Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 32 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in four consecutive matchups.

Marian Catholic's record now sits at 11-3. As for Executive Education Academy Charter School, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Marian Catholic has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Panther Valley on the 29th. As for Executive Education Academy Charter School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Lincoln Leadership Academy on the 30th.
