Football Recap: Enterprise Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Enterprise extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-3. They were beaten by the Central Red Devils 53-24. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Mac Houston threw for 174 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Kenyon Kilow was his top target, picking up 95 receiving yards. On the ground, Jyrell Reese rushed for 61 yards and one score.

As for Central, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won four contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Central's win came down to the chemistry between Bobby Coleman and his top target Mike Bass. Coleman threw for 337 yards and four TDs while picking up 14.0 yards per attempt while Bass picked up 220 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 337 passing yards gave Coleman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jayshaun Woodhouse, who rushed for 61 yards and two scores on only seven carries.

Enterprise will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Carver Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 49-14 loss against IMG Academy on the 26th.
