Basketball Recap: Brick Township Comes Up Short

If Brick Township was riding high fresh off their 80-42 takedown of Asbury Park last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Brick Township Green Dragons took a hard 66-49 fall against the Donovan Catholic Griffins on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Green Dragons of the 45-29 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2021.

Brick Township's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Brick Township will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakewood at 5:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Donovan Catholic will take on Red Bank Catholic in a holiday battle at at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
