It was a good run, but New Fairfield unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sheehan Titans. If the Rebels were looking for revenge after losing 77-51 to the Titans when the teams met back in February of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

New Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Sheehan, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-12.

New Fairfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sheehan, they will venture away from home to face off against Ellington at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Ellington will roll in looking for their 27th straight win, something Sheehan surely won't give up without a fight.
