Basketball Recap: Episcopal Takes a Loss

Episcopal saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lake Travis Cavaliers by a score of 63-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (55), the Knights still had to take the loss.

Lake Travis got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alex Jacob out in front who went 6 for 10 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Kihlberg, who posted seven points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks.

Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Lake Travis, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Episcopal wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-30 victory against Chaparral on the 6th. As for Lake Travis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-44 defeat against Leander on the 6th.
