Baseball Game Preview: Shattuck Indians vs. Hammon Warriors

Shattuck has gone 8-2 against Hammon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Indians will face off against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Shattuck came up short against Pioneer-Pleasant Vale and fell 6-3. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hammon lost 11-4 to Amber-Pocasset on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Shattuck's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Hammon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Shattuck came out on top in a nail-biter against Hammon in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
