Basketball Recap: Lakeland Takes a Loss

Lakeland was the 49-41 winner over Sandpoint when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Lakeland Hawks fell just short of the Sandpoint Bulldogs by a score of 44-42 on Tuesday.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Sandpoint, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-10.

While Lakeland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
