Softball Game Preview: Fort Lauderdale Flying L's vs. St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders

The Fort Lauderdale Flying L will take on the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Thomas Aquinas took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Lauderdale, who comes in off a win.

St. Thomas Aquinas will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Fort Lauderdale extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Flying L's never let Flanagan get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. Considering the Flying L's have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas Aquinas fell victim to Palm Beach Gardens and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Gators. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Fort Lauderdale's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
