Basketball Recap: Chesterton Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Anthony last Tuesday, Chesterton Academy came back down to earth. Chesterton Academy fell 50-40 to the Cristo Rey Trailblazers on Thursday. Chesterton Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cristo Rey apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Chesterton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Cristo Rey, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season.

Chesterton Academy has already played their next match (against University Lake/Trinity Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cristo Rey does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
