Recap: Plainview Indians vs. Seminole Chieftains
There's no place like home for the Plainview Indians, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They claimed a resounding 60-16 win over Seminole at home.
Plainview had a senior duo take command as Emilee Hedger dropped a double-double on 10 points and 12 steals and Jacelyn Hammon scored 18 points along with 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hammon has scored at least 25% of Plainview's points. Another player making a difference was Marya Southerland, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
The win got Plainview back to even at 1-1. As for Seminole, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Plainview will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Madill at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for Seminole, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chandler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
