Softball Recap: Buford Takes a Loss

Buford has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.58 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Marion Swamp Foxes by a score of 12-11. The loss continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their meetings with the Swamp Foxes: they've now lost three in a row.

Buford's defeat dropped their record down to 21-3. As for Marion, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Buford nor Marion have any future games scheduled.
