After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Little Wound finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They took a blow against the Rapid City Christian Comets, falling 74-25. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Having lost for the first time this season, Little Wound fell to 3-1. As for Rapid City Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Little Wound will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mahpiya Luta at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Rapid City Christian also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Rapid City Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
