Soccer Recap: Lakota East Comes Up Short + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Lakota East was not quite St. Xavier's equal in the second half on Saturday. They lost 4-1 to the Bombers. While losing is never fun, Lakota East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while St. Xavier are ranked 30th).

This is the second loss in a row for Lakota East and nudges their season record down to 3-7-3. As for St. Xavier, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-3.

Looking ahead, Lakota East will venture away from home to square off against Turpin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Turpin will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lakota East surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Xavier, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Archbishop Moeller at 7:00 p.m.
