Basketball Recap: Thunder Ridge's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Thunder Ridge won the last time they faced Stockton, and Evan Slavik did his part to make sure it happened again. The Thunder Ridge Longhorns blew past the Stockton Tigers, posting a 58-21 win thanks in part to Slavik, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 15 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Thunder Ridge's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Stockton, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Thunder Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-17 loss against Lakeside on the 14th. As for Stockton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 73-34 defeat against Rock Hills on the 14th.
