Volleyball Recap: Paramount Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Paramount had to endure a 15-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Maywood CES Wolfpack by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Paramount's win bumped their record up to 4-20. As for Maywood CES, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Paramount has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Eastside on the 19th. As for Maywood CES, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Foshay on the 21st.
