Williston is 6-1 against Dunnellon since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Williston will look to defend their home field against Dunnellon at 7:00 p.m. Williston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Williston barely beat Columbia the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Williston never let Columbia get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Sarah Hollender was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Luna Asencion was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jayla Coleman, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

Williston always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.

Meanwhile, Dunnellon didn't have quite enough to beat Nature Coast Tech on Wednesday and fell 7-6. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addison Rohn was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Olivia Joiner was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Dunnellon's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Williston, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Everything went Williston's way against Dunnellon in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, as Williston made off with an 11-1 win. Does Williston have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dunnellon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
