Basketball Recap: Archer City Triumphs

Archer City won the last time they faced Electra, and Millie Mayo did her part to make sure it happened again. The Archer City Wildcats walked away with a 44-33 win over the Electra Tigers on Friday thanks in part to Mayo, who posted 16 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Archer City's record is now 16-13. As for Electra, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Olney the next time they take the court. Archer City will host Olney at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Electra will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
