Softball Recap: Arkadelphia Has No Trouble Against Camden Fairview

Arkadelphia's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Camden Fairview Cardinals 9-1. The Badgers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 10th.

Arkadelphia got a great performance from Megan Grace Farrar as she didn't allow a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. Farrar also put up five hits, which were her first of the season.

On the hitting side, Addy Cauldwell was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Annabelle Davis, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Arkadelphia now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Camden Fairview, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Arkadelphia is set to face off against their familiar foe Magnolia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Camden Fairview will challenge rival Hope at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
