Sandia Prep won the last time they faced Cottonwood Classical Prep and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sandia Prep Sundevils came out on top against the Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes by a score of 56-44.

Cottonwood Classical Prep's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Swanson, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Perez, who put up six points and six rebounds.

Sandia Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-21.
