Basketball Recap: Shoals Jug Rox vs. Northeast Dubois Jeeps
Shoals kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by the Northeast Dubois Jeeps on the road and fell 59-10. The Jug Rox just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.
Northeast Dubois got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lyllee Schnell out in front who went 8 for 10 en route to 19 points plus five rebounds. Emmersen Kalb was another key player, going 6 for 12 en route to 14 points plus six steals.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shoals will challenge Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast Dubois, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Paoli at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
