Jacob Rubinstein posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (three) he has had since back in March of 2024.

Rubinstein and Ransom Everglades will take on Archbishop Carroll at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Rubinstein's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Ransom Everglades' five-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Rubinstein and Ransom Everglades surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
