The Leander Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Wimberley Texans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leander is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Leander challenged Dripping Springs on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Leander's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Lexie Winters, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Wimberley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Wimberley's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Wimberley's win bumped their record up to 7-1-1. Leander's draw makes their record 5-2-1 this season.
