Herscher won the last time they faced Reed-Custer and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Comets. Considering Herscher have won eight contests by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Herscher, bringing their record up to 11-2-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matches. As for Reed-Custer, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Herscher has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Coal City on the 24th. As for Reed-Custer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 6-1 defeat against Peotone on the 24th.
