Soccer Recap: Holy Cross Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Holy Cross had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Dixie Heights Colonels on Tuesday. Holy Cross were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dixie Heights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Dixie Heights now has a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, Holy Cross is taking a road trip to challenge Pendleton County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dixie Heights, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Villa Madonna at 7:30 p.m.
