Soccer Recap: Calhoun County Falls Short of Dixie in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Calhoun County can now relate to. They came up short against the Dixie Hornets on Thursday, falling 9-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Calhoun County of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Calhoun County has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Dixie, they pushed their record up to 16-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither Calhoun County nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
