Basketball Recap: Southview Cougars vs. Genoa Area Comets

After flying high against Clay last Thursday, Southview came back down to earth. The Southview Cougars were beaten by the Genoa Area Comets 66-32 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 494th, while the Comets are ranked 148th).

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mikayla Dorn, who posted eight points and seven boards. Amani Woodard was another key player, putting up six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
