Volleyball Recap: Lindenhurst Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Connetquot, Lindenhurst was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Newfield Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Lindenhurst was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-18.

Lindenhurst's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4-1. As for Newfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
