Basketball Recap: Paoli Comes Up Short

After soaring to 58 points the game before, Paoli was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. The game between them and the Perry Central Commodores didn't end well, with the Paoli Rams falling 42-25. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while the Commodores are ranked 127th).

Despite the loss, Paoli still got an impressive performance from Jericho Hopper, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Hopper's fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Paoli's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Perry Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Paoli has already played their next game, a 52-30 defeat against Springs Valley on the 16th. As for Perry Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-27 loss against Heritage Hills on the 16th.
