Softball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

After soaring to 21 runs the game before, Washington was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 17-2 to the Lowell Cardinals. The Eagles have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lowell, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Coming up, Washington will face off against Burton at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Pumas at the right time seeing as the Pumas are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Lowell, they will take on Mission at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
