Basketball Game Preview: Olympic Trojans vs. Kingston Buccaneers

The Olympic Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Kingston Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Olympic and five for Kingston.

Last Friday, Olympic had to suffer through a 83-39 loss at the hands of Bremerton. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Knights are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, Kingston took a blow against Bainbridge on Friday, falling 60-27. The game marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Olympic's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Kingston, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Everything came up roses for Olympic against Kingston when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 75-43 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Olympic since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
