There's no place like home for John Carroll Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They took down the Sipsey Valley Bears 55-40 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-51 last Tuesday.

John Carroll Catholic has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for Sipsey Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

John Carroll Catholic and Sipsey Valley could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. John Carroll Catholic (ranked 233rd) will meet Wenonah (ranked 29th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Sipsey Valley will face off against Northridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 116 places (166 vs. 50).
