Baseball Recap: Williams Vikings vs. Ray Bearcats
There's no place like home for Williams, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Ray Bearcats on Saturday. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.
Mario Pedraza made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one double.
