Raceland snaps four-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Raceland Rams vs. Simon Kenton Pioneers
The matchup between the Raceland Rams and the Simon Kenton Pioneers on Saturday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. Raceland was dealt a 80-43 defeat at the hands of Simon Kenton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Raceland has scored all season.
Simon Kenton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Travis Krohman, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Polly, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Raceland's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-3. As for Simon Kenton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.
Raceland's road trip will continue as they head out to face South Webster at 3:00 p.m. on December 21st. Simon Kenton will be home for the holidays to greet Moore at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
