Volleyball Recap: Lake Washington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lake Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Liberty Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Kangaroos of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-11.

Ananya Sooraj was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and one assist. Those nine digs gave her a new career-high. Alicia Lester also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Lake Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Liberty, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Lake Washington has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Sammamish on the 14th. As for Liberty, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Redmond on the 14th.
