Basketball Recap: Alief Hastings' Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Alief Hastings won the last time they faced Foster, and Amyah Weathersby did her part to make sure it happened again. The Alief Hastings Bears came out on top against the Foster Falcons by a score of 55-45 on Wednesday thanks in part to Weathersby, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Alief Hastings' points.

The victory made it two in a row for Alief Hastings and bumps their season record up to 21-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Foster, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-18 record this season.

Coming up, Alief Hastings will look to defend their home court on Monday against Katy Taylor at 7:00 p.m. Alief Hastings is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season. Foster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
