Basketball Recap: Hiram Comes Up Short

Hiram was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the South Paulding Spartans, falling 57-36. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Hiram's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for South Paulding, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hiram will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kennesaw Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on December 5. As for South Paulding, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Paulding County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
