Torrey Pines had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Coronado Islanders on Wednesday. The Falcons are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 19 straight.

While Torrey Pines won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-19.

Jaycee Mack paced Torrey Pines' offense, picking up 11 kills. Mack got some help from Emery Gonzales and her 29 assists. Parker Herrin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Torrey Pines' victory bumped their record up to 36-4. As for Coronado, their loss dropped their record down to 33-8.

Torrey Pines wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cathedral Catholic on the 8th. As for Coronado, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against JSerra Catholic on the 11th.
