The Ursuline Koalas are taking a road trip to face off against the Rye Garnets at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Ursuline is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Ursuline is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Eastchester just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 8-3 to the Eagles.

Ava Papaleo was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Adriana Capano, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Rye lost 16-5 to Mahopac on Saturday. The Garnets have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Rye's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Ursuline, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Ursuline got the 'W' in their previous matchup on Tuesday against Rye by a conclusive 13-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Koalas since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
