Basketball Recap: Galeton Takes a Loss

Galeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. The game between them and the Northern Potter Panthers didn't end well, with the Galeton Tigers falling 45-29. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-38 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Galeton lost, don't look at Braden WARD. Despite the final result, he posted seven points and five steals. WARD is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ben Holcomb, who scored four points.

Galeton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Northern Potter, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Looking ahead, Galeton is taking a road trip to square off against Oswayo Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northern Potter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
