Northshore won the last time they faced Mandeville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Skippers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 18-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Several Skippers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Julia Marengo, who hit 100% for six kills and 31 assists and eight digs. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Gaudet, who had 18 digs and two aces.

Northshore's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Mandeville, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northshore will host Covington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Mandeville, they will take on Slidell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
