Softball Recap: Beresford Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Beresford's offense. They came up short against the West Central Trojans on Saturday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Watchdogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Beresford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Central, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Beresford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Sioux Valley on the 29th. West Central has also already played their next matchup (against Alcester-Hudson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
