Cochrane-Fountain City has gone a perfect 8-0 against Eleva-Strum recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates will head out to challenge the Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cochrane-Fountain City is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since September 13th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Whitehall 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Cochrane-Fountain City got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-13, 19-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Eleva-Strum got the win against Osseo-Fairchild on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Thunder recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Eleva-Strum got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 25-15, 25-21.

Cochrane-Fountain City picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 17-8. As for Eleva-Strum, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Cochrane-Fountain City beat Eleva-Strum 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
