Soccer Recap: Winnetonka Comes Up Short

Winnetonka lost against Excelsior Springs back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Griffins came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-0. Winnetonka have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Winnetonka's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Excelsior Springs, they moved to 6-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winnetonka will take on Raytown South at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Winnetonka will be up against Raytown South's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.82 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Excelsior Springs, they will square off against Odessa at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
