Ira hadn't done well against Highland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Ira Bulldogs secured a 33-29 W over the Highland Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Ira has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for Highland, they dropped their record down to 9-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ira will host Water Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Roby at 6:15 p.m. on January 24th.
